'Grimm' season 6 air date, plot spoilers: Frankenstein coming; Adalind dies?
Fans of police procedural fantasy drama series "Grimm" will have to wait for its season 6 next year. It's going to be the final season but the show is making sure that it's going to be the best one.
According to spoilers, fans can expect a lot of thrill and adventure even at the beginning of the new season as all 13 episodes will have something explosive in it. Claire Coffee, who plays Adalind Schade, spoke to Showbiz Junkies during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con and revealed that there will be some changes in the dynamics of the gang.
"Alliances are shifting, for sure. I think the beginning of the season is incredibly intense.," Coffee said. "Usually we take a season to work toward the insanity and that level of tension, but we're starting with it this season. It's not letting up. There's not a lot of breathing room so far," she added.
When asked what the future of her character would be, Coffee stated that she is hoping that Adalind will not end up dead. She's crossing her fingers that Adalind would stay alive until the end.
She isn't sure what exactly is going to happen to Adalind in the long run because the cast has not been made aware of it yet but she admitted that there's still a possibility that Adalind will die. Coffee said that after season 5, nobody is really safe. Anyone of the characters could die.
Aside from a potential major character death, spoilers revealed that a legendary creature is coming to the show. As detailed in TVLine, Frankenstein is going to appear in one of the episodes of season 6. Nothing is certain yet but it could be the main subject of the final episode.
Fans will have to stay tuned for more details. "Grimm" season 6 will start airing on Jan. 6, 2017 on NBC.
