Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) orders a shoot-to-kill manhunt on Det. Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) on the upcoming premiere of NBC's supernatural drama "Grimm" season 6.

Titled "Fugitive," the show's premiere episode will see Nick on the run. According to the official synopsis, Capt. Renard will stop at nothing to eliminate Nick once and for all after the massacre in his loft. In an attempt to keep an eye on the Captain and help give the team the upper hand, Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) decide to just head back to the precinct.

Elsewhere, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) must deal with the fact that they must reside in Portland now that their family is growing. Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) continues to experience difficulties due to the side effects of the mysterious stick's healing power. Claire Coffee also stars in the episode, while guest stars include Jacqueline Toboni and Danny Bruno.

According to reports, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) is coming back to give a conclusion to what she is going through. In addition, Sean is expected to finally realize his plans for the city as he enters his new term as the mayor. Rumor has it that once he has more time to rule the city, some of his sinister plans will come true. As for Adalind (Coffee), she will reportedly choose to be with her children instead of staying with Nick.

Back in August, it was announced that "Grimm's" upcoming season will be its last. Although NBC has yet to officially confirm a spinoff series in the works, it is believed that the network is already working on a "Grimm"-related series that will likely explore the Wesen's life and history. There are speculations that the spinoff will happen soon after the final season's conclusion.

The sixth season of "Grimm" premieres on Friday, Jan. 6, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
