GTA6 Release Date on PS4 Expected in 2016: Developers Have '45 Years Worth of Ideas'
It's just been a little over a year since the release of GTA V but it seems like Rockstar North developers already have some idea how GTA VI will look like.
Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North, said that they have "about 45 years worth of ideas" to use for the upcoming game.
"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA VI will be, but we've got some ideas," Benzies said.
"GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain't no rest between finishing V and then Online. Plus we have some other things - stuff, DLC, I don't know how to describe it exactly - that we'd like to do, and we'll pick the right ones," he added.
Although it looks like GTA VI is part of Rockstar North's plan and that the GTA V had record-breaking success, we cannot deny that GTA V has been receiving a lot of complaints lately. In fact, a recent update (1.17) was just released last October 2 by the development team to address existing issues and prevent more gaming problems from occurring.
Although no details regarding the release have been announced yet, more about GTA VI are expected to be unveil after the release of GTA V "enhanced" edition for new game console platforms Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 18 this year, and another one for Microsoft Windows on January 27 next year.
Rumor has it that GTA VI will be released sometime in 2016, but no official confirmation from Rockstar North has been released as of yet.
