'GTA Online' festive update news: Holiday-themed contents to be released?
Christmas is coming to "Grand Theft Auto Online" ("GTA Online") players, as leaked reports claim that Rockstar Games will release several holiday contents next week.
VG24/7 spotted a leaked information from Rockstar Games fan TezFunz2 on Twitter, claiming that the game developer will hand out several Christmas-themed contents such as a Unicorn Mask, pajamas, Christmas tree, and clothing.
There will also be several other features that will make a comeback from the previous holiday events such as the firework launchers for New Year. Los Santos will also turn into a winter wonderland as snow drops during the said event.
At the moment, the game developer has yet to confirm if they really have plans to release a Christmas update just like what they did last year. But if they do, players can expect to hear the news by Tuesday next week.
While waiting for any announcement regarding the rumored "GTA Online" holiday update, players can get hold of the latest expansion pack called "Import/Export" that was launched Wednesday.
The new expansion provides more money-generating schemes for players from stealing luxury cars. According to the game developer's description, "In Import/Export, CEOs will get their hands dirty alongside their Organization, stealing and dealing in "liberated" luxury vehicles with Vehicle Cargo while Executive Offices get a facelift with the newest Executive Garage housing up to 60 vehicles. And tap into rare, highly unusual, and federally prohibited Special Vehicles that are capable of streamlining your corporate misdeeds in explosive new ways."
The expansion update comes with a number of special vehicles such as the Nagasaki Blazer Aqua, the JoBuilt Phantom Edge, the Brute Armored Boxville, BF Ramp Buggy, the Imponte Ruiner 2000, and the Coil Rocket Voltic, among others. It also comes with other vehicles such as the Principe Diablous and Diablous Custom, the Pegassi Tempesta, the Ocelot Penetrator, and the Annis Elegy Retro Custom.
