Hit game "Guitar Hero Live" is now owned by Ubisoft, after the studio acquired FreeStyleGames. This should come as a good news as Ubisoft is known to create quality games.

Ubisoft has acquired the rights of FreeStyleGames, the makers of "Guitar Hero Live," from Activision. Players should not fret though, as the game will still continue its heart-pounding beat. In an article by Eurogamer, FreeStyleGames' other projects that concentrate on "DJ Hero" will continue to be developed, indicating that more surprises will come in the future.

FreeStyleGames was established in 2002 in Warwick, and later founded another office in Slough, Berkshire. The game developer is composed of pros from the former Rare and Codemaster employees, gathering good reputation with their works for Sony. In 2008, Activision acquired the company and started developing "DJ Hero."

"Guitar Hero Live" has significantly earned a number of fans following its launch in 2015. It made the scene with a tight competition with "Rock Band 4," but it has managed to stay popular nevertheless. Fresh content is still presented in "Guitar Hero Live" and Activision plans to continue its support despite the team's exit.

Now that FreeStyleGames is under Ubisoft's umbrella, the studio is now called Ubisoft Leamington and will be working with the people of Ubisoft Reflections. According to CinemaBlend, the company may add more people to support "The Division" for a certain period of time.

According to the Ubisoft blog, the new MD Reflections managing director Richard Blenkinsop said: "we're thrilled to have their expertise within the group, and the team at Reflections are looking forward to creating great things together!"

Blenkinsop is a known producer for hit titles such as "Call of Duty 3," "Blur" and "Rome: Total War."

As for "Guitar Hero Live," Ubisoft is expected to add more rhythm to it. Following the success of "Just Dance," a lot of future interesting stuff may be added to the classic game.
