'Halo 5: Guardians' DLC will have 'Forge' tool available for PC
PC Gamers of "Halo 5: Guardians" will be happy to know that this September will finally allow them to use "Halo 5's" "Forge" tool, which will allow them to make their own customized arenas and maps. The new downloadable content (DLC) pack will also include "Anvil Legacy" which will offer a lot of new maps, weapons, and custom options for players.
Reports say that the "Halo: Forge" expansion will be available for Windows 10 users. "Forge" was the tool used by Xbox users to create and share custom maps with the "Halo" community. The option is known to be exclusive for Xbox users, but this September, the PC gamers can join in on the bandwagon.
Other than the "Forge" tool, the new DLC will also come with "Anvil's Legacy," further bringing PC and Xbox gamers together. "Anvil" will be the ninth free content that will be available for the game, and the expansion pack will offer a lot of new things like arenas, weapons, and different ways to customize the "Halo" gaming experience.
What's more is that it wouldn't matter what platform gamers choose to share materials on. As long as the PC gamers have Windows 10 installed, they will be able to share maps with Xbox One users, and it won't matter which system the custom map was originally created on. Access is available on both platforms.
Two new arenas are also available with the DLC. For the competitive types, there is the "Mercy" arena. The "Temple" arena will be very similar to the Sanghelios deserts, and it's a customization of Warzone Assault modes.
The DLC will also come with new REQ items that include new attachments, skins, weapons, and more.
The "Halo 5: Guardians" DLC is for free, and it will be available on Sept. 8, 2016.
