'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 episode 8 spoilers: Danny relies on daughter's secret boyfriend's help amid terrorist attack?

A daring rescue mission involving the McGarretts may have taken the forefront of "Hawaii Five 0's" 150th episode, but one other interesting subplot was also introduced in this episode that could potentially cause a much bigger wave of conflicts later in the season.

Since Danny Williams (Scott Caan) missed all the action last Friday in lieu of his father's operation, the upcoming eighth episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 hopes to make up for that with what looks to be a Danny-focused narrative.

In the previous episode, Danny's colleague Lou Grover (Chi McBride) tried to enlist his son's help to find out who Danny's teenage daughter was currently dating. William Grover (Chose Jacobs) really put up quite an act trying to get out of it with every rendition of "It's not my business, Dad," he could possibly muster.

So it would be interesting to see how the two fathers are going to react when they finally find out that their kids are actually dating. In the preview for the episode titled "Hana Komo Pae" ("Right of Passage), Danny will be facing two of his greatest fears: losing his daughter Grace (Teilor Grubbs), and losing to the man who has caught his baby girl's affections.

The episode synopsis teases an innocent enough start to a winter formal where Danny will be acting as a chaperone to his daughter Grace. But then a terrorist attack figures in and forces the hyperventilating father to work with and trust his daughter's boyfriend, if they ever hope to save Grace and everyone else at the venue.

The rest of the Five-0 Task Force will eventually swoop in to save the day, but what's going to happen between Danny and Will until they do will be quite a treat to watch. Can Will's determination to save his girl help loosen Danny's overprotectiveness? Will Grace's relationship with his son sit well with Lou? How will this relationship affect the way Danny and Lou interact with each other?
