Hearthstone Blackrock Mountain DLC Expansion Pack Release Date: Features, Details and 31 Hot Cards
Blizzard released last week the first wing in the expansion pack titled "Blackrock Mountain" for its award-winning digital card game "Hearthstone." The expansion pack contains five wings which will be released over five weeks.
The first wing in the expansion pack is titled "Blackrock Depths" and it arrived on April 2 for the PC, Mac, and a number of other mobile devices in the Americas, Southeast Asia and Oceania. It arrived a day later in Europe and other Asian countries like Korea andTaiwan.
Previously "Hearthstone" received the "Curse of Naxxramas" expansion pack.
Players have the option to purchase each wing separately at $7 or use 700 in-game gold instead. They may also buy all five wings in a bundle costing $25.
Announcing the expansion pack, Blizzard said it would bring 31 hot cards which can be "obtained by emerging victorious in epic battles against some of the mountain's most iconic villains."
The company said "players can harness the power of some of Azeroth's mightiest denizens through a whole flight of Dragon-type minion cards which will be accompanied by an all-new game board, new music, and a host of legendary encounters."
In this particular expansion pack, players have to battle their way across "Blackrock Mountain" which was featured in "World of Warcraft." Each of the five wings has a unique number of "bosses."
Forbes noted that the bosses in the first "wing" are easy to beat at the normal level of "Warrior." But at the "Heroic" level, players can run into big challenges from bosses in areas like the Dark Iron Arena. The "Heroic" mode is much like the version in "Naxxramas" with the difficulty increasing dramatically as the game progresses.
Players will have to finish the game successfully if they want to earn the in-game gold to unlock the next "wing."
