Homeland Season 4 Spoilers: Leads Heating Up for Carrie Mathison
Sunday night marks another episode or the much anticipated Homeland Season 4. That's still a few days from today, so we understand how much you want to know what is about to happen. To give you a hint of what is in store for the show in the upcoming episode, we've got you some synopsis of this week's episode as well as that of last week's, just in case you weren't able to catch it.
A brief description of what is about to happen in the upcoming episode entitled "Iron in the Fire" reads, "The leads are heating up for Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) on Sunday's upcoming installment of "Homeland." After tricking drone strike survivor Aayan Ibrahim (Suraj Sharma) to meeting her in a public room under the guise of needing medical attention in episode 3, Carrie once again meets Aayan face-to-face, this time in the U.S. embassy in Pakistan in Iron in the Fire."
The synopsis for the last episode aired on October 12, 2014 entitled "Shalwar Kameez" reads, "Quinn (Rupert's Friend) requests his dismissal from the CIA and is given an interview to assess his well-being. The conversation turns to the events in Islamabad where Sandy Bachman was killed. Quinn refers to a "choice" he made in regards to Sandy and Carrie who were in the car with him at the time, but doesn't elaborate. Quinn angrily walks out of the interview when asked if he and Carrie are romantically involved.
"Carrie (Claire Danes) arrives in Islamabad and learns that the Embassy has been placed on lockdown. Nevertheless, she eludes her security detail as well as ISI surveillance and goes to an alternate base of operations she has established, where trusted allies Fara (Nazanin Boniadi) and Max (Maury Sterling) are waiting.
"Their objective is to make contact with Aayan Ibrahim (Suraj Sharma). Fara makes the first attempt, visiting Aayan's school posing as a journalist from London. Aayan is uncooperative and leaves immediately. Fara reports back to Carrie that Aayan was "terrified". Carrie notes that if Aayan was silenced by someone, he must have some valuable information."
Episode 4 of Homeland Season 4 will air on Sunday, October 19, at 9pm on Showtime.
