Honor Note 8 specs rumors: Device will most likely be released in US
Huawei's Honor Note 8 is definitely making a lot of noise in the smartphone industry these days. The impressive handset is considered by many as the one who can challenge the mighty Samsung Galaxy Note 7, once both devices are out in the market. The device has already been launched in China; however, there are rumors suggesting that the powerful smartphone will make it in the western market.
Although Huawei has yet to confirm these reports, fans and critics have already started to predict that the plan of the company is to roll out the Honor Note 8 by the time Samsung decides to release the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 7.
The Honor Note 8 is another midrange Android entry from Huawei but somehow the device packs specs that make it a unique device. To start off, the Honor Note 8 has a display size of 6.6 inches with a noted resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
It also has a powerful battery pack at 4,500 mAh. Honor Note 8 also runs on a Kirin 955 octa-core processor, couple with 4 GB of RAM. It also features 128 GB expandable storage. As for its camera, the device has 8 megapixels on the front, perfect for capturing selfies. The main camera has 13 megapixels. Honor Note 8's optical image stabilization, but as noted by GSM Arena, video recording resolution remains at 1080 pixels.
Other features of the device include a dual-SIM slot, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth v4.2, USB-Type C connector. It weighs 219 g and the device is shipped with a pre-installed Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Honor Note 8 is currently priced at $422.
As of the moment, fans will have to wait for Huawei to provide an official announcement with regard to the release of Honor Note 8 in the U.S. Until then, fans must take all rumors and speculations with a grain of salt.
