'How to Get Away With Murder' Finale Spoilers: Who Really Killed Sam?

Official Facebook Page

Who enjoys mysteries and getting them solved? Well, maybe not everyone on the planet, but at least enough people to make the "How to Get Away With Murder" (Thursdays at 10 p.m. over ABC) TV series one of the more interesting and engaging shows in the crime, drama, and mystery genres.

Of all the loose ends that are currently still drifting around in the show, it is the mystery surrounding the death of Sam (Tom Verica) that truly keeps on wanting to overwhelm the mind.

The itch to know is getting to be maddening as time passes by, and maybe it's due to the fact that Sam died in a particularly unappealing way. Imagine being struck on the head with a Scales of Justice statue? There must be very strong symbolism hiding there. But the question is what? Does the imagery have anything to do with the death?

In any case, this Thursday, Nov. 20, will be the first season's winter finale. By the time Episode 9 titled "Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me," gets aired, followers of the show are hoping that the suspects in Sam's death will have been eliminated from the guessing game, with only the true killer remaining.

It could be Michaela (Aja Naomi King), as she was the worst affected. Her reaction was noticeably out of proportion to the whole situation. Could it be that the reason behind such a reaction is her guilt? But if she's the one, what could have been her motive?

Or was it Rebecca (Katie Findlay)? Didn't she say in Episode 7 that she wanted to kill Sam? Did she turn her desire into reality? She would be a good candidate for the role of killer, but the only problem is that she's too obvious a choice.

Since "How to Get Away With Murder" is a mystery series, then the best thing to do would just be to wait for Thursday to find out the answer.
