'How to Get Away With Murder' season 3 news, spoilers: Could Frank be the father of Laurel's baby?

Laurel (Karla Souza) was revealed to be pregnant when she was brought to the hospital after suffering injuries from the explosion at the Keating house. But it is still a mystery who the father of her baby is.

Previously in "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3, Laurel was found pregnant by Wes' (Alfred Enoch) ex-girlfriend, Meggy (Corbin Reid), at the hospital, while she was being attended to by the doctors.

It is suspected that Wes is the father of Laurel's baby, because before the night of the fire and before his death, Wes and Laurel had started a relationship.

But according to University Herald, there's a possibility that it might also be Frank (Charlie Weber).

In the episode where Laurel came home a little drunk from celebrating her automatic A on Annalise's (Viola Davis) class, Frank appeared at her apartment and stayed the night. Since "How to Get Away With Murder" is notorious with its plot twists and surprises, it is possible that something happened between Laurel and Frank that night.

Also, in the winter finale, when Bonnie (Liza Weil) told Frank that Laurel was pregnant, instead of getting angry because it might not be his, he was genuinely worried and asked if she was doing okay.

Another question regarding Laurel's pregnancy is what she's going to do about it once it is revealed who the father is. If it turns out to be Wes, her baby just lost a father.

Meanwhile, the most anticipated mystery that will be solved when the show returns is the identity of Wes' killer and the reason behind the murder.

Executive producer Peter Nowalk shared with TV Guide, "I think everyone's fair game. There's a lot of people to be accounted for and that's sort of the fun of the back half of the season for me – scratch off suspects as we go."
