After months of speculation over the identity of the person under the sheet, season 3 viewers of the hit TV series "How to Get Away With Murder" finally found out in the show's winter finale that Wes (Alfred Enoch) was the murdered victim. Now that it was revealed that Wes actually died before the fire, fans are now wondering how exactly did Enoch's character die and who could have possibly killed him.

According to various reports, answering these two questions are the main priority of the second half of "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, several members of the cast were asked about their own theories regarding Wes' murderer.

"For a moment there, I thought it was maybe Frank [Charlie Weber], but then that's just way too cruel," Aja Naomi King, who portrays the role of Michaela, told Entertainment Weekly. "At this point, Annalise just has so many enemies, it could be a number of people."

"I think it's an outside party," Weber said, concurring with King. "This is retribution toward Annalise (Viola Davis) for all the things that we've done, which Frank is certainly responsible for, in a lot of ways," the actor went on to say.

The sudden demise of Wes, who is one of the main characters of the show, is a moment that most people did not expect to happen, especially since the past seasons have somehow focused on Wes through the years. Annelise also shared a deep bond and history with Wes from when he was young, and the show has invested a lot of time depicting their strained and complicated relationship.

Although Wes is already deceased, Enoch is expected to return in the next half of the third season of "How to Get Away With Murder" through flashbacks, as reported by CinemaBlend.

The midseason premiere of the third season of "How to Get Away With Murder" is scheduled to air on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, on ABC.
