'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 spoilers: Wes' death and Laurel's baby daddy mystery to be revealed
The mystery about Wes Gibbins' (Alfred Enoch) death will finally unravel in the midseason premiere of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 on Thursday.
In the latest teaser released by ABC, the circumstances regarding the death of one of Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) favorite students will slowly unfold.
The trailer also hinted that the remaining members of the Keating Five, which Wes used to be a part of, will be in cahoots with each other. This could mean that Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King), Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) and Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) will be blaming each other for the death of their friend.
Meanwhile, the short trailer also revealed that Annalise will be seen behind bars in the second half of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3.
In an interview with TV Guide, showrunner Peter Nowalk revealed that the fierce criminal lawyer and law school professor will be staying in jail longer than expected. "You're going to see her in a jumpsuit, I promise you that. And you're going to see her learning how to cope in jail and without a lot of her regular armor," the showrunner said.
Nowalk also teased that Annalise will meet several people inside the prison facility who will help her deal with life behind bars. "I love the two women, especially, that Annalise meets in jail, who are just different and really touch Annalise in different ways," he also stated.
Fans of the legal mystery drama will also find out how Laurel will cope with Wes' death, as well as the real identity of her unborn child's father. Fans were speculating that Wes could be the baby's father, but there is also a chance to learn that her former boyfriend Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) might still be the father of her child.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will return on ABC on Jan. 26.
