HTC One M9 Release Date: Pre-Orders Shipping From March 30 to April 3
Good news to those who pre-ordered the HTC One M9, the latest flagship phone of the Taiwan-based company. They will be the first customers in the U.S. to get hold of the new smartphone with the delivery of units set to start on Monday, March 30.
The manufacturer has already sent emails to customers who pre-ordered the HTC One M9 sets in the U.S., according to PhoneArena. The email said the official shipping schedule is from March 30 to April 3. In case there are changes in the schedule, the manufacturer said HTC will post an official announcement on the matter.
"Orders for the HTC One M9 will begin shipping on Monday 3/30, and should ship by Friday 4/3 at the latest. Any changes to this will be communicated directly to you from HTC," read the email sent by HTC to customers in the U.S. who pre-ordered the phone.
HTC One M9 phones will start selling in U.S. stores on April 10. "Whether by coincidence or by design, that is the same day that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will also be available in U.S. stores," PhoneArena said.
HTC is also set to hold an event about the rumored HTC One M9+ on April 8, barely a week after HTC's promised shipping schedule. This can give customers time to make up their minds on which HTC model they should purchase.
A number of other HTC phones are also expected to be unveiled at the same event. "We just might see the HTC One E9 and the HTC One E9+ unwrapped. And if all the planets are aligned properly, we could see the HTC One M9+ finally become official," PhoneArena said.
It is still "extremely unclear," however, if the models that HTC will unwrap on April 8 will be available in the U.S. market, it added.
