The identity of the creature behind the killings aboard the Black Whale in chapter 359 should be unveiled in the upcoming "Hunter X Hunter" chapter 360.

In the latest chapter, which marked the beginning of the Dark Continent expedition and the Royal Succession War, several people were killed by an unknown assassin. Chapter 360 will thus find Kurapika trying to uncover the identity of the person or creature who committed the killings. Was it someone form the Phantom Troupe or the Zoldycks? Or was it the Dark Continent Beast?

In chapter 359, the Black Whale set sail for the Dark Continent, with the lady staff explaining that the journey will take around two months. The passengers were warned that they would be sailing through rough waters after being in safe territorial waters for the first three weeks.

But the expedition was marred by tragedy when a guard was found dead in a bathroom, his body riddled with holes. It appeared that the body had been drained of blood through the holes, which led to the man's death. With the Black Whale passengers still unaware about the first casualty, four other bodies were found. All of the victims had multiple holes in their corpses.

According to Sportsrageous, Kurapika will begin questioning the guards about the murders and will sense that one of them is lying. As the website suggested, the protagonist will use the power of his chain jail to determine if the guards are telling the truth about the multiple deaths on the Black Whale.

According to Hall of Fame Magazine, while Kurapika will have difficulty sensing the aura of the guards, he will be almost certain that a Nen user had something to do with the grisly deaths.

The outlet also theorized that there is a possibility that the culprit was the Dark Continent Beast, who could have camouflaged himself as one of the humans on the expedition. If this turns out to be the case, Kurapika will then have to use his chain jail to catch the beast and save the other passengers.
