Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed divorce rumors 2016: Nina Dobrev reports swirl, but Reed trying to get pregnant?

For the past few months, it has been reported that "The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder and "The Twilight Saga" star Nikki Reed are having a hard time keeping their marriage on the right track. Unfortunately, the recent rumors are only getting worse with some reports online cliaming the two are filing for a divorce.

Somerhalder and Reed's relation has been one of the top picks among Hollywood rumors websites, especially that the former was also linked with another actress, his former "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev. However, it appears that there is still hope for the two to fix their marriage. According to the online publication, the couple is working hard to have a baby. In fact, the couple is seen present in the party of "The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec. In the said party, the actor, who plays the character of Damon Salvatore in the hit CW supernatural series, revealed in an interview with E! News that he already has plans with his wife to have kids at the soonest time possible.

"Absolutely! I can't wait, but with this schedule, living on a television show, it's a bit difficult," said Somerhalder. He cited his ongoing "The Vampire Diaries" gig as one of the possible reasons why the two are unable to find time to get pregnant. With the anticipated series finale of "The Vampire Diaries" this Season 8, the actor is expected to find the time they need to have a baby.
