After the iOS 10 rolled out in several iPad and iPhone devices all over the world, the public is now expecting that a working jailbreak tool will be released in the coming weeks. Before the Sept. 7 Apple Event that showcased the full version of Apple's latest mobile operating system, there were indications that the known hacker groups today are on their way to successfully jailbreak the iOS 10 and release the software tool to do so

The iOS 10 was officially launched in several Apple devices last Sept. 17, but shortly after the latest iOS rollout, an iOS 10 jailbreak tool is still not visible. The Chinese hacker group, Pangu, is the one rumored to get close in developing such software tool. As reported by Yibada, Pangu was among the first individuals to successfully jailbreak the iOS 10, although it should be noted that they were able to jailbreak the iOS 10's beta version. While it is still not clear if Pangu is already successful to jailbreak the iOS 10 full version, many believe that the group is now getting close.

Unfortunately, Pangu may have been losing time against Apple as the latter is now on its way to release the first update for iOS 10. As of the meantime, it is more likely that Pangu will be able to release the first iOS 10 jailbreak tool after the iOS 10.0.1 update has been rolled out. This also means that Pangu will need to exert extra effort to release the jailbreak tool as Apple has appended new security features in the latest iOS 10 update.

Aside from Pangu, a well-known Italian hacker, Luca Todesco, has also demonstrated the jailbreaking of the iOS 10 beta 8 version. However, according to WCCF Tech, Todesco is not likely to release the tool that he used to jailbreak the iOS 10 as his aim was only to demonstrate that Apple's latest OS version can be jailbroken. Forbes reported that the first iOS 10 update includes minor bug fixes and some improvements on the operating system, something that Pangu and other mobile hackers should take note to successfully develop the jailbreak system.
