As the waiting game for the iOS 10 jailbreak from the Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu, Apple rolls out the fifth beta for iOS 10.1, the first major update for the mobile operating system.

The Cupertino-based tech company has released small iterations of the software in the past months and it is now inching closer to the official launch of the iOS 10.1.

However, the iOS 10 jailbreak is still nowhere to be seen. With Pangu tight-lipped about it ever since they used a working jailbreak tool for the first beta version of the iOS 10, jailbreak fans are starting to worry.

Thankfully, the latest reports suggest that Pangu is simply taking its time. The iOS 10 jailbreak is expected to be released after the iPhone maker rolls out the iOS 10.1.

This will allow folks over at Pangu to come up with the right tools and tweaks to bypass every security measure Apple employed on the iOS 10 and its subsequent updates.

The tech giant has been releasing small updates such as the iOS 10.0.1 and iOS 10.0.2, all of which minor packing tweaks that disable any jailbreak installed on an iOS device.

Waiting for the iOS 10.1 to be released first might be Pangu's plan all along. That way, they will be able to produce an iOS 10 jailbreak that can circumvent all these jailbreak-cancelling tweaks Apple used.

With Apple now focused on the new iteration of iOS 10.1 and the fifth beta already out, it should not be long before the iOS 10 jailbreak by Pangu sees the light of day.

A specific release date is difficult to pinpoint though especially with Pangu's silence on the matter. Even so, the iOS 10 jailbreak is likely just around the corner and that the team should just be doing the finishing touches before they officially roll it out.
