iOS 10 jailbreak tool updates: new iOS 10.2 jailbreak coming out soon?
Those who missed the chance to use Luca Todesco's Yalu 10.1.1 jailbreak tool could still have their Apple devices jailbroken once the iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool comes out soon.
Forbes reported that jailbreak users had to wait for a while before they could get their hands on the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool. But instead of getting it from the usual developers like Pangu, the latest tool was released by Luca Todesco's Yalu. However, it was not the same highly functional jailbreak tool that the public used to know.
According to a report from Forbes, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool from Todesco required users to reinstall the jailbreak whenever the iOS device had to be restarted. It was also quite unstable when released, since it was still on its beta phase. This was the reason why there were a significant number of jailbreak users who opted to retain their Pangu iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool which proved to very reliable despite being outdated.
However, German security researcher Stefan Esser revealed through his Twitter account that there will be an iOS 10.2 jailbreak that is about to be released in the coming days.
According to Esser's tweet, those who were not able to download the jailbreak tool from Luca Todesco will still have a chance to jailbreak their Apple devices using the latest iOS since another developer is currently working to release a tool for iOS 10.2.
If Esser's information would turn out to be true, this will be the first time that two iOS versions had been jailbroken consecutively in years.
On the other hand, Geek Says revealed that the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool from Luca Todesco has yet to have a proper fix from different jailbreak developers. Since most tweaks are not exactly available for ordinary Apple device users, downloading the tool must be met with proper precaution.
