iOS 10 jailbreak updates: Yalu jailbreak now ready for iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and SE; no iOS 10.2 jailbreak from Luca Todesco
The Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak released by Italian developer Luca Todesco should now work on the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the iPhone SE.
This is thanks to a developer that goes by the name Sticktron. Todesco gave his stamp of approval to the software from his fellow iOS jailbreaker.
"Since people seem to not know yet: a fix for TSMC has been posted for both SE and 6s. So support should now be complete for those devices," he revealed. "I suggest using [Sticktron's] 6s TSMC fix, no one else's," he went on to say. So for those who have been waiting for the Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak for the abovementioned devices could use it without worry.
However, with the status of the Yalu jailbreak, users are advised to wait it out until it is stable enough. At the moment, it still has bugs and is solely recommended for developer use. Each beta version of the Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak is not stable and is laden with bugs. Save for the brave souls out there, it is highly suggested to steer clear of it until everything is spick and span. Todesco also took to Twitter to clarify that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak is not coming as he advised users to not install the iOS 10.2.1 software. "I am just reiterating a previous warning; no 10.2 jailbreak is planned but still avoid 10.2.1, and save 10.2 blobs," he said, referring to the feature that allows users to downgrade and upgrade to certain software that they save these blobs for whenever they want even if Apple is no longer signing the said software.
As for the iOS 10 jailbreak from Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu, it looks like users have given up waiting for it. Its absence appears to have led to other developers stepping in.
If the group is still working on it, the software might arrive too late again, like what happened with the iOS 9.2 jailbreak from last year.
