Many tech enthusiasts and Apple users are in great anticipation for the release of the iPad mini 5. Since Apple has remained very quiet about its existence and development, there are also many speculations about the possible features that the much-awaited gadget could be equipped with.

According to Game N Guide, Apple fans should expect huge changes for the rumored iPad mini 5. The upcoming tablet will be addressing one of the major problems with the previous iPads, which is the lack of a connector. Rumor has it that the newest iPad mini will be coming with a Smart Connector.

Major improvements are also speculated to arrive for the fifth-generation of the iPad mini concerning its display. The next-generation tablet will reportedly come with a flexible display. Should this prove true, Apple users would be able to fit their mini tablets inside baggy packets and small purses.

As reported by The USB Port, there are also speculations that the iPad mini 5 will be of thinner build, measuring 5mm. The gadget will also be made of 7000 series aluminum in order to prevent the gadget from bending and breaking.

The upcoming Apple tablet will also be built with an A9 or A10 processor and 3 GB RAM. An M9 GPU equates to significant improvements in graphics and performance, enabling the device to handle different motion functions such as compasses, gyroscopes, and other related sensor data. It will also have 32 GB of storage memory, considering that Apple has been doing away with the 16 GB gadget variant.

As for its possible price, the iPad mini 5 could be priced by Apple at around $470 for the base model, which will increase by $100 for its other variants with bigger internal memory.

Although there is no definite release date yet from Apple, there are speculations that the iPad mini 5 will be arriving in March 2017.
