Many users of the iPhone 5S are on the fence about upgrading to Apple's latest flagship handset, the iPhone 6. The new smartphone has already sold more than 10 million units since its launch in September, leaving many Apple lovers wondering if they should get their hands on one, too.

In terms of specs, the iPhone 6 is equipped with better features compared to its predecessor. The iPhone 5S has an A7 chip processor, while the iPhone 6 has Apple's latest 64-bit A8 chip, enabling its CPU to perform faster.

Dimension-wise, the iPhone 6 is slimmer at 6.8mm and has a screen size of 4.7 inches with 1334 x 750 display. In comparison, iPhone 5S is 7.6mm thick and has a screen size of 4 inches with 1136 x 640 in-plane switching (IPS) LCD display.

There is also a difference between the battery life of the two phones. The iPhone 6 has a 1,810 mAh battery, which is an upgrade compared to the iPhone 5S's 1,560 mAh battery.

In terms of storage choices, the iPhone 6 comes in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. On the other hand, Apple has already stopped selling the 64GB version of the iPhone 5S, leaving customers with the 16GB and 32GB models to choose from. All iPhone handset models do not support microSD cards.

Taking photos is also easy with the latest Apple smartphone. The iPhone 6 retains the 8MP rear camera specs of its predecessor, but the new model comes with 1/3.06-inch sensor, true tone flash, dual-LED flash and phase detection. The iPhone 5S, on the other hand, has a bigger aperture and camera sensor size.

The two models still have similar features, such as iOS 8 support, Siri voice control and built-in TouchID sensor. Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S are also compatible with the soon to be released Apple Watch, but the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have much bigger screen sizes and are certainly more powerful phones.
