iPhone 8 may be far different from the current model as claimed by a recent rumor. The unannounced iPhone is expected to have an all-glass design, aside from its wireless charging features.

iPhone 8 may give all the other brands a threat as it is rumored to have a major revamp. One of the changes is the alleged all-glass design, which is comparable to the old iPhone 4. The next-generation model will reportedly boast two glass panes located at the rear and the front of the device. A metal frame situated in the middle will connect the two panels together.

iPhone fanatics surely know that the particular design is similar to the iPhone 4 as it also came with two glass panels found at the same location as that in iPhone 8. It also has a stainless steel frame to connect both glasses.

The rumor is contrary to the speculation that iPhone 8 will be out with an entirely glass design, and no metal feature will be seen. However, this has already been debunked as it was reported that Apple may not pursue the all-glass feature after all.

Another interesting buzz is that iPhone 8 will come with wireless charging capability. It was during the interview with The Verge when Energous CEO Steve Rizzone spoke about the company's wireless charging technology.

Back then, Rizzone said that Energous changed its plans following the signing of "key strategic partnership," which the enthusiasts believe is Apple.

Then, before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 started, the company boss said to the publication that their product's transmitters will start shipping at the latter part of this year.

Other expected iPhone 8 specs are the ditching of the Home Button to make way for the fingerprint sensor to be embedded in the glass display. However, Apple has yet to confirm the rumors, let alone make the announcement of the handset. Still, everything has to be assumed as pure rumors.
