After the successful unveiling of the iPhone 7 last September, many tech enthusiasts are now wondering about the next iteration of Apple's flagship handset. The rumors are rife that the Cupertino-based tech giant will offer something huge for the consumers next year. Specifically, the iPhone 7's successor to be released next year will mark the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, so it is to be expected that this device will be very special.

According to Game N Guide, the new design and specs lineup of the iPhone 8 will be revolutionary. The public was shocked by the iPhone 7 and Apple's bold move to remove the traditional 3.5-mm headphone jack from the handset. However, the upcoming iPhone 8 will bring a lot more of exciting new features.

One of the new things to watch out for is the wireless charging feature of the iPhone 8. According to Forbes, Apple has been working on this feature for quite some time now, and they are hopeful that wireless charging will be finally implemented in the iPhone 8. With this, the iPhone 8 will further become the highly innovative device that the tech enthusiasts today have been waiting for.

On the other hand, the iPhone 8 is also expected to switch from the traditional LCD-powered screen to OLED panels. According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 8 will adopt a curved OLED screen display instead of keep the usual flat LCD screen. Sharp, who was earlier reported to be Apple's new partner, also confirmed the possibility of Apple using OLED panels in the near future.

Using OLED screen for the iPhone 8 will also give way to an edge-to-edge design for the handset. This year's Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge already sported an edge-to-edge OLED screen display, something that the iPhone 8 will most likely adopt.

It is also likely that the iPhone 8 will be almost, if not entirely, be covered by the OLED screen panel on its front. The Home Button might also be removed from the iPhone 8 and replaced by a fingerprint sensor.
