Jana Duggar and Cousin Amy Dispel Feud Rumors
Rumors of an alleged feud between Amy Duggar and cousin Jana Duggar over evangelical athlete Tim Tebow have been cleared up via Instagram.
Amy Duggar took to her Instagram account this week to dispel rumors that she and her cousin, Jana Duggar, were fighting over the courtship of former Denver Broncos quarterback and current ESPN analyst Tim Tebow.
Any uploaded a photo of tabloid to Instagram account with a headline that read: "Exclusive Duggar Drama! Cousin Amy Trying to Steal Tim Tebow From Jana."
"Looks like the tabloids are at it again," Amy's Instagram reads. "Jana and I laughed so hard about this, we've never even met Tim Tebow. #allsmilesnodrama."
Media outlets began suggesting earlier this month that possibly Tebow and Jana Duggar were courting each other. The rumors began after Jim Bob Duggar, patriarch of the reality show family, met Tebow's mother, Pam, at a pro-life event in October.
Tebow's camp then sought to dispel the rumors, with a representative for the evangelical athlete telling Us Weekly that the two have never even met each other.
"Tim and Jana Duggar have never even met," the rep said.
Rumors also suggested that Jim Bob Duggar was trying to set Tebow and Jana up together, but the family patriarch has previously said that he does not pick who his children marry.
"I do not choose who my children marry [...] Over the years, I have suggested guys to my daughters or we have had a lot of guys that approach us and are interested in this girl or that girl, but each of our girls have chosen their spouse on their own," Jim Bob previously told People magazine.
