'Justice League' premiere date, cast news, plot updates: New image features unexpected trio from the Justice League; plot predictions based on title trailer
An exclusive new image of "Justice League" was recently released, featuring a new trio engaged and ready for battle. Meanwhile, there are several predictions of what and who will appear in the upcoming DC film based on its trailer.
GamesRadar released an exclusive "Justice League" photo from an issue of Total Film magazine, featuring Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (James Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) preparing to face an opponent.
This was found as an unexpected trio since from the trailer and from previous images, Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman, and The Flash (Ezra Miller) have mostly appeared as the initial collective of the Justice League.
It is anticipated that Batman and The Flash are missing-in-action from this scene because they are trying to find a way to resurrect Superman (Henry Cavill).
Meanwhile, there are speculations that the trio on the scene is inside a vessel that came from Apokolips, the home world of Darkseid, and that they will face an army of Parademons.
Comicbook Movie predicts that Darkseid will make an appearance in "Justice League," because of the Mother Box that was shown on the "Justice League" trailer. Based on the DC comics, Darkseid is after the Mother Box, and it is possible that he has summoned Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) to obtain it for him.
Another possibility is that the Justice League will be successful in preventing Steppenwolf from obtaining the Mother Box and that the film will continue to a sequel, featuring Darkseid as the new villain.
It is also speculated that when Superman is resurrected, he will have an evil sense of mind and will be one of the villains for the Justice League. If Superman ends up on the opposite side of the Justice League, it will not take long for Batman and the rest of the team to convince him to fight with them against the bigger threat that's looming on earth.
"Justice League" is set to premiere on Nov. 16.
