Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez wedding news: On-again couple plan to tie the knot

20-something singer/songwriters Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, whose years-long relationship reportedly ended in 2014, are said to be getting married.

The news comes from In Touch, which cited an unnamed informant close to Gomez. "She's already talking as if they are engaged," the source allegedly told the outlet. "Selena will get married in private, just to show them she doesn't need [her family's] approval," the source added.

According to the insider, the "Same Old Love" singer thinks that getting married will be a quick fix to her and Bieber's relationship problems.

"She thinks if they just bite the bullet and get married, all of their problems will disappear," the informant said. According to this source, the "Love Yourself" singer reached out to Gomez a few weeks back while she was in rehab for health issues. While Gomez was reportedly initially surprised to hear from her ex, with whom she has a complicated history, they were soon communicating regularly. Now, they are supposedly trying to fast-track their renewed romance.

In Touch claims that Bieber has suggested moving out of Los Angeles and that Gomez has agreed. The outlet's source purportedly says that the move hinges on whether or not Bieber will propose to Gomez.

Earlier this month, The Sun reported that the 24-year-old "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum has been spending time in a rehab facility in Nashville, Tennessee for the last several weeks. The pop singer has previously announced that she has been suffering from panic attacks, anxiety and depression.

Gomez's relationship with Bieber, which began sometime in 2011, ended in 2014 amid accusations of cheating on the latter's part. The split crushed the hearts of many "Jelena" fans.

This month, Ricardo Gomez, Selena's grandfather, spoke to Fabulous about the "Hands to Myself" singer and confirmed that she has been under a lot of stress from work and that she has been worrying about her ex.

"She loves him but told us she doesn't want to be with him because of his recent behavior," Ricardo said. "We've known Justin since he started in the industry and he was such a bright young man, but we worry for him. His family think Selena is a good influence on him," he added.

Bieber and Gomez have yet to comment on these reports.
