Kanye West Apologizes to Beck, Bruno Mars for Rude Remarks
Miracle happens and Kanye West can be considered a breathing example after the Grammy-winning rapper and record producer went on an apology spree.
Just two weeks after interrupting Beck during his acceptance speech for the Album of the Year category at the 2015 Grammy Awards, West apologized to the rock artist.
"I would like to publicly apologize to Beck. I'm sorry Beck," West tweeted in his official Twitter account.
It may be recalled that the 37-year-old husband of reality star Kim Kardashian told Beck to give the award to Beyoncé if he respects artistry.
"At this point, we are tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you are disrespectful of that," he said in an interview after the Grammy Awards, according to Entertainment Weekly.
His brief stunt was similar to a 2009 incident when he stormed the stage during MTV's Video Music Awards, declaring that Beyoncé should have won an award instead of Taylor Swift.
West and Swift appeared to put it behind them, hugging it out in this year's Grammys.
In a series of tweets, the rapper also provided mea culpas to other stars, including Bruno Mars.
While his offense against Beck was made publicly, what West had publicly said about Mars was even worse that it required a two-tweet apology.
"I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist," the rapper said, according to Entertainment Weekly.
He also invited Mars to sing a track West produced with 88 Keys and Puff.
"I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced... I even asked Tyler to shoot the video," he added.
The song might be on West's forthcoming album, which could join the recently debuted tracks "Wolves" and possibly "All Day."
Both Beck and Mars had no immediate comment on West's apology.
