'Left 4 Dead 3' release date news 2016: 3rd installment expected to come out in 2017?

When the cooperative first-person shooter video game, "Left 4 Dead 2" came out in November 2009, many people expected the game developer to make a third installment right away. However, despite its commercial and critical success, Valve Corporation has yet to announce its plan to develop a new "Left for Dead" game. However, according to the latest reports, "Left for Dead 3" is said to come out with "Half-Life 3" in 2017.

According to Movie News Guide, there are speculations circulating all over the internet suggesting that Valve is planning to move to a new office space next year. Apparently, the development of "Left for Dead 3" and "Half-Life 3" needs a bigger space to accomplish. According to the publication, many fans believe that the company will start the development of the two highly anticipated titles in 2017 and that is why Valve is looking to move to a new spacious office.

In a report by Gospel Herald, Valve will move to their new 225,000 square feet working area at Lincoln Square Tower, which is basically five times larger than its current office space.

Earlier this year, Express Gaming reported that the third installment of the popular video game will feature four new characters – three males and one female. According to the report, the female character will be called Katherine, while the three male are Irvin, a gangster; the famous Kenpo fighter, Garrett Jr.; and Keenan, the comic book geek.

However, nothing is set in stone as of the moment. Fans and critics are still waiting for the game developer to provide an official announcement with regard to the development and release of the third installment.

For now, the amount of pressure from fans might help Valve to decide on their plans for the game. With the rumored 2017 release getting a lot of attention from many fans, it could only be a matter of time before the company makes an official announcement.
