'Legends of Tomorrow' season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Legends vs. feudal Japan
The Legends are going Japanese when "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 returns for its third episode and it will all be thanks to Nate's (Nick Zano) newfound powers, which will eventually turn him into Citizen Steel.
The episode titled "Shogun" will feature Nate transporting himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) by accident to feudal Japan after he discovered that he has somehow acquired powers. Rory (Dominic Purcell), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Sara (Caity Lotz) will decide to search for the two of them so they can train Nate on how to better use his powers.
The episode synopsis cited by TV Guide also seems to suggest that the team may get themselves in trouble trying to defend a Japanese village from the ruling Shogun and his army of samurai warriors.
The official trailer posted by The CW offers more details into the Legends trip to Japan. Ray has lost his atom suit to the samurais. They have all somehow managed to dress up appropriately for the era. Sara and Vixen will be wielding samurai swords like they've been using them all their lives. Rory will be introducing feudal Japan to the fiery end of his gun while Ray's suit may have ended up in the wrong hands.
Meanwhile, back on the Waverider, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Professor Stein (Victor Garber) have decided to stay to do some repairs on their ship. While they are doing so, they will stumble upon a secret compartment where they will learn something significant, and yet perhaps also dangerous, that they agree not to tell the team about it just yet.
Will the Legends be able to hold their own against the skills of feudal Japan's fearless samurai warriors? How long will it take for Nate to warm up to his newfound power and identity as a potential superhero? What did Jax and Stein discover in that compartment and how bad is it that they cannot tell their own team about it?
Questions will be answered when "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 episode 3 airs on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
