'Lethal Weapon' season 1 episode 14 spoilers: Riggs, Murtaugh to go after a deadly stalker in 'The Murtaugh File'
How long can Riggs (Clayne Crawford) last without alcohol? It's just one of the things viewers of "Lethal Weapon" are looking forward to seeing when the show returns with a brand new episode in two weeks.
After barely surviving a brush up with death, thanks to the stubbornness of his partner, Murtaugh (Damon Wayans), Riggs will now take an interest in the man's past in the upcoming episode titled "The Murtaugh File." Having sworn off alcohol in the show's previous run, Riggs finds himself with enough time and restless energy in his hands to try and find out everything he can about the man he's been running cases with.
What will he find out, and how will this affect his partnership with Murtaugh? Will this file help him gain more appreciation and respect for his partner, or will it end up uncovering something that Murtaugh may not want Riggs to see?
Other than Riggs snooping into his past, Murtaugh will also have to deal with his continuing troubles with his children when he and Trish (Keesha Sharp) find out about their daughter Rianna's (Chandler Kinney) fake ID.
However, all of these things may pale compared to the upcoming episode's main hook: Dr. Cahill's (Jordana Brewster) murderous stalker.
The case kicks off with a brutal car crash that eventually leads to the realization that Dr. Cahill's life is in danger. For a change, Riggs and Murtaugh will be the ones grilling the police psychologist with questions.
The trailer for the next episode reveals that the stalker has been on Dr. Cahill's tail for weeks, and it seems that Riggs and the psychologist will be staging a pretend relationship to smoke this stalker out. Murtaugh, on the other hand, is on the roof, armed and ready with a sniper gun. But will he be able to take a successful shot before it's too late? Is his sniper ability just one of the things that Riggs will find out about him after reading his file?
