LG G4 vs Galaxy Note 5 Rumors: 2015 Release Date Will Launch Phablet Battle
LG fans won't be seeing the LG G4 until mid-2015, but it's OK for everyone to get excited. One thing that is impressive about LG is that they've been experimenting on innovation to get some strong user feedback. If they continue that on the LG G4, then we're betting on their success.
Here's what we've heard so far about the LG G4:
The company will be releasing only one smartphone in 2015. Instead of releasing a dozen different phones like some of its competitors, LG may put in all their efforts in one flagship phone that is the LG G4.
The phone will come with a new type of stylus with the company taking the competition to a new level with the Galaxy Note Series. We can expect the LG G4 to compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
For price, it may be in the 600 USD range unless LG decides to release different variants of the phone. The LG G3 is currently at $599.99 USD.
As for specifications, the upcoming LG G4 will have a 5.3-inch display with quad HD or 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, powered by a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset with 64-bit architecture and an octa-core processor called "Nuclun."
It will have 4 GB RAM, 20.7 megapixel camera and 3,500 mAh battery. It will also be equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop as well as 32 GB and 64 GB variants, expandable through a microSD slot.
Regarding the release, it's difficult to tell because unlike other smartphone manufacturers that tend to be consistent with their annual phone releases, LG tends to be sporadic in its releases. Following the launch of its earlier phones, the LG G4 may be released either on the first week of May or in September.
