LG V20 release date, specs news update: Device comes with better overall package
LG has recently announced the new LG V20 with its new features such as the dual camera technology, removable battery, new exterior design, new software and more.
Prior to the release of LG V10 in 2015, nobody really cared that much about the smartphone. When it finally hits the market, it surprised many people with its impressive specs and features. It immediately became a hit; hence, tech fans have anticipated the release of its successor.
According to a report by Forbes, the LG V20 still carries some of the best features from its predecessor. The metal chassis of the smartphone is still one of the reasons why the new handset has the best durability compared to the others in the market today. The device also has a sleek design, yet simple and elegant.
In a report by N4BB, although the new LG V20 has some similarities with the previous model, the new smartphone has square edges with damage-proof plastic on the top and bottom of the device. According to the publication the handset has a MIL-STD 810G rating because of its aircraft-grade metal used on its chassis.
In terms of specs under the hood, the LG V20 can certainly compete well with top-tier smartphones in the market today. The device runs on a Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm paired with 4 GB of RAM. It also carries a 64 GB GB internal storage capacity, which is expandable through microSD.
The dual camera feature of the new smartphone has an f/1.8 aperture. The 16 MP rear camera also has a viewing angle of 75 degrees.
The LG V20 has a 5.7-inch screen with Quad HD IPS display and a resolution of 2560 x 1440. It also carries a removable 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support from Qualcomm. Other features of the device include an X12 LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, High AOP Mic, Hi-Fi Video recording and USB Type-C port.
The device will be available in South Korea later this month. Pricing details have yet to be provided by the company.
