'Longmire' season 6 release date and rumors: Will Netflix pick up the show for another season?
"Longmire" ended its fifth season in a cliffhanger, and now audiences are tense wondering about on whether the Netflix will pick the show up for another season. The show has garnered quite a following and a lot of fans are positive that the show will be getting renewed soon.
According to GameNGuide, fans are still waiting for the green light from Netflix for a sixth season of "Longmire," and they guess that it may arrive sometime in August or October 2017. The guess is based on previous release dates of the show. Since season 4 was released in August 2015 and season 3 in September 2016, it's likely that the season six could arrive around autumn of 2017.
As for plot speculations on the show, Cartermatt guesses that the next season may delve into the relationship of Walt (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff). Fans have previously paired Walt with Donna (Ally Walker), but seeing that the show was already given a lot of backstory to Walt and Vic, it's quite unlikely that audiences will be seeing more of Donna and Walt.
As fo Vic, it's also quite possible that she could have a connection with Travis (Derek Phillips), and the only thing standing in her way is her willingness to commit. Fans have known Travis to be quite the nice guy, and he has already shown that he is supportive of Vic's pregnancy.
The identity of the father of Vic's child is still a mystery as Vic has gotten herself involved with Eamonn (Josh Cooke) and Travis. There's no doubt that the showrunners would reveal the identity of the father by the time season six airs — if season six airs.
People are still waiting for the confirmation of Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates.
