'Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite' release date, character news: Two characters will be revealed

The anticipation of fans about "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite" has never died down even if there is no confirmed release date of the title yet. Capcom recently unveiled the title at the PlayStation Experience, which was held during the weekend at Anaheim, California.

Capcom even released a video footage of the anticipated title, showcasing Ryu and Megaman X. According to the latest Twitter post of the "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite" account, two more characters will be revealed later today on ESPN2.

Specifically, "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite" will grace the Capcom Cup 2016, where the company will present many major features of the tournament, and ESPN2 will cover the event at exactly 5:30 p.m. PDT.

Fans speculate that since the title speaks for itself, the two characters that Capcom will reveal will be one from Marvel's famous characters and another from those of Capcom. It has been on the news that Captain America will join "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite," so it is highly expected that he will be the character to be announced. However, fans have no clue about who will be the Capcom fighter to be introduced.

As of now, four fighters are confirmed to appear in the "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite," including Mega Man X, Ryu, Captain Marvel and Iron Man.

Going back to the video footage shown, players noticed a seemingly Power Infinite Stone, who are battling their strength out against Captain Marvel and Iron Man. The whole scenario is not just action-packed, it also presents a cinematic output that further highlights each of the character's signature moves.

Aside from "Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite," Capcom's own Yoshinori Ono also introduced the equally anticipated "Street Fighter V." A video trailer was also shown to demonstrate the actual gameplay. Players were also given a chance to see the mentioned characters switching with their respective tag teams. During the event, the players were reportedly shouting "It's Marvel baby," which is a popular catchphrase for all avid players.
