Meizu M3X and Pro 6 Plus leaks, specs and release date news: handsets to come out with budget-friendly features
Meizu M3X and Pro 6 Plus may be released soon. That is according to the recent leak that has been spotted on Geekbench.
It is possible that Meizu is preparing for the release of two new smartphones, the Meizu M3X and the Pro Plus 6. According to the recent Geekbench leak, each of the handsets has features that cater to the budget-conscious market.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus has an alleged Exynos 8890 chipset, according to GizChina, and is coupled with an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.44 GHz. It also comes with 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and Android 6.0.1. It is believed that the handset will have the Flyme user interface (UI), aside from the Android operating system (OS).
In the leaked specs, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is shown to have gained a score of 3,693 on the multicore test and 1,462 on the single-core test. According to First Post, the numbers do not actually represent a premium device.
The Meizu M3X, on the other hand, allegedly has a MediaTek MT6757 chipset with an octa-core processor in the hood. This comes with a faster clock speed of 1.64 GHz, which was observed during the test.
It is believed that Meizu M3X will have 3 GB of RAM and will be installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as its preloaded mobile OS.
Meizu has just rolled out Meizu Z on Nov. 30 with MediaTek Helio X20 chipset that has a deca-core processing unit, 128 GB of built-in storage and a powerful 6 GB RAM.
The company does not stop there. On Dec. 6, the Meizu M5 Note is scheduled to be released. The device is equipped with MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with an octa-core processing unit. Its RAM size is reported as 3 GB.
There is no news, however, if the Meizu M3X and Pro 6 Plus will be released simultaneously or not. Furthermore, the company has yet to confirm the leaked details.
