Back in December 2013, F1 racing champ Michael Schumacher inflicted a severe head injury while skiing in the French Alps.  He met the accident when he was skiing with his 14-year-old son, Mick. He was put in a medically induced coma for six months and he has since been recuperating back in his home.

So far, news of Schumi's health condition has not been showing any signs of significant improvement — until now. Ex-Mercedes chief executive Ross Brawn gave an update on Schumacher's health, and he said that Schumacher is showing "signs of progress."

Brawn told BBC Sport, "There are encouraging signs and we are all praying every day that we see more of them... All I would say is there is a lot of speculation about Michael's condition, most it's wrong and we just pray and hope every day that we continue to see some progress."

Brawn also went on to talk about Schumacher's family and how they have been trying to get along in the wake of their family breadwinner's accident. Brawn told fans to respect their privacy in these troubled times.

Other reports said that the family has even sued Die Bunte magazine for publishing a false story about Schumacher's health condition. The magazine said Schumacher was already able to walk again last year, but that was simply not the case.

According to CNN, the family's lawyer, Felix Damm said, "I told the court on Friday that the alleged claim that Michael Schumacher can walk again is false and simply not true... Michael cannot even stand with the help of his special therapists. I cannot make any other comments about Michael's health situation."

It has been three years since the accident, and Shumacher's fans have always been encouraged to stay positive during these troubled times.
