Michael Schumacher's condition is still being kept tightly under wraps as his family asks everyone to respect their decision to keep almost everything about the German racing legend as private as possible. And while fans have been somehow understanding of this request, the information embargo is a breeding ground for rumors that pop out every now and then regarding the real situation of Schumacher behind closed doors. More recently, rumors of him already back on social media have made the rounds online hinting of a much-awaited public return.

Unfortunately, upon checking his Twitter, the racing champion's platforms have yet to make an activity since 2014 bar a promoted tweet spreading the word for a Child Online Safety symposium. Even the 2014 updates are written not by Michael but by someone presumably inside the family's inner circle sending the Schumachers love and gratitude for the fans' support during this trying times. Technically, the last time that his account has been active seemed like way back in November of 2012, which is almost a year since his freak skiing accident during a family vacation in the French Alps.

Other fans also cited Mercedes Chief Executive Ross Brawn's recent comments about Michael's recuperation as he was quoted saying, "There are encouraging signs and we are all praying every day that we see more of them." He, however, belatedly retracted this statement and clarified that what he meant with his comment was completely misunderstood.

"We go see him and hope and pray that one day he will make a recovery. I was quoted as saying he's improving and it was not what I really meant. The family [members] are conducting his convalescence in private and I need to respect that. So I don't want to comment on his condition beyond saying we're extremely hopeful we'll see Michael as we knew him at some point in the future," he explained.

At this point, fans have no choice but to sit back and wait for any official updates regarding Michael's condition. Chances are that any unofficial news about him peppered online do not have merits and may only cause misunderstanding.
