The Microsoft Lumia 1330, the successor to the Nokia Lumia 1320, seems set for release next month as Microsoft has sent out invitations for a press launch at the Mobile World Congress, touted as the world's greatest mobile event, scheduled for March 2 to 5, 2015.

The Microsoft Lumia 1330 is the upgraded version of the Nokia Lumia 1320, which doesn't quite live up to the higher end Nokia Lumia 1520.

It looks like the Lumia 1330 will improve on a lot of the reported issues of its predecessor. In terms of the aesthetics and technical specs improvement, Lumia 1330 would have a 14MB camera at the rear (replacing the 5MB) and a 5MP "selfie" shooter in front (replacing the 3MB). It will have a quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU (replacing the Snapdragon S4) and a 1GB RAM (an increase from 512MB), according to rumors. The screen size will be reduced from 6 inches to 5.7 inches, raising the pixel density from 245ppi to 258ppi.

The phablet is rumored to have two variants, the RM-1065, which will have dual-SIM capability and 4G connectivity (this will carry the Microsoft Lumia 1335 name), and the RM-1064, which will be single-SIM (this will carry the Microsift Lumia 1330 name). Another variant, the RM-1062, will be released in India which will not have 4G connectivity.

What initially raised rumors of this new phone is a teaser, actually a Microsoft poster that appeared in Indonesia, where the Lumia 1330 back panel was pictured. A translation of the words on the top of the picture reads "Dual SIM card made that smart."

As of this date, Microsoft has not officially announced the release date for the Lumia 1330, but the mobile community is looking to confirm this during the M.W.C. in March 2015.
