Microsoft Surface Book 2 release date and specs rumors: Laptop to arrive with Intel's Kaby Lake, Windows 10 Redstone 2?

Along with the Surface Pro 5, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. Although the American software giant has yet to officially announce the highly anticipated device, the specs and features have reportedly already made it online. However, new reports suggest that tech freaks will have to wait for a while before the laptop makes it in the market.

There have been speculations circulating that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Book 2 will not be release this year. Reports suggest that the next generation Surface Book will arrive sometime next year, along with the rumored Surface Pro 5.

Another reason tech observers see is the pending release of Intel's next generation processor, the Kaby Lake. According to the report, Microsoft is planning to bring the best specifications and features on the new laptop and the delay could only give them more time to polish the device.

Nonetheless, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the Software giant. However, despite the company's continued silence with regard to the development of Microsoft Surface Book 2, fans are pretty positive that it will be worth the wait.
