Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth news: Miley Cyrus throws a big party for boyfriend's 27th birthday

Pop singer and former Disney teen star Miley Cyrus recently celebrated the 27th birthday of her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, by throwing him a party.

As reported by E! Online, Miley Cyrus threw a joint birthday bash on Friday evening, Jan. 13, for her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, sister Noah Cyrus, and pal Wayne Coyne.

Cyrus, known for being a hip-hop fan, made the theme of the birthday party "N.W.L." (which stood for Noah, Wayne, and Liam), which is inspired by the iconic rap group N.W.A.

According to Refinery29 and based on the Instagram photos shared by those who were invited to the joint birthday bash, the dress code for the party appeared to be "straight outta Compton," with some of the guests copying the style of Ice Cube's iconic hip-hop group.

Aside from humongous pizzas, tattoos, and a custom cake baked in the shape of a black hat and gold chain with the initials "N.W.L." frosted on it, guests of the party also received weed goodie bags. The "Wrecking Ball" singer credits Snoop Dogg for supplying the marijuana-themed goodie bags from his company, Merry Jane.

Among the celebrity attendants of the party included Ashley Greene as well as Liam Hemsworth's sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky. Elsa even shared several photos of herself on her Instagram account. One photo featured her eating a slice of pizza, while another shot showed her standing in front of the dance floor and the DJ booth.

Ahead of the birthday festivities, Cyrus shared a heartfelt birthday message to Hemsworth on Instagram.

"Happiest birthday EVER to my favorite being EVER EVER EVER! You have been my best friend since the day we met....." the caption in the Instagram post which featured a photo of her and Liam read. "I am beyond lucky to share sooooo animals with you!!!I love you @liamhemsworth."
