'Mortal Kombat X' Characters List: New Characters Include 4-Arm Goro, Three Variants

'Mortal Kombat X' is due for release in a few days' time with staple characters such as Jackson Briggs and his daughter Jacqueline back to delight gamers.

The full roster of the game characters include D'Vorah, Erron Black, Cassie Cage, Ermac, Ferra and Torr, Jacui Briggs, Jax, Goro, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Kano, Kenshi, Kotal Kahn, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Liu Kang, Quan Chi, Mileena, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Shinnok and Takashi Takeda.

Characters who are included in the Kombat Pack DLC include Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th, Predator, Tanya and Tremor.

With about 20 fighters now included in the brawling game franchise, many fans described the mix of new and old characters as refreshing. Attention is focused mostly on Goro, a new character with four arms. However, this character is only available when the game is pre-ordered. NetherRealm Studios may include him later in a DLC.

Characters in the game which is due for release on April 14 have been showcased in a number of Kombat Kast Twitch streams over the past few months. Each of these events focused on one or two characters.

The most recent character to be put on the spotlight was Goro. A full description of each of his three variants was provided. The variants are named Tigrar Fury, which allows the character to spit flame when he attacks. The Kuatan Warrior mode will see him use a number of hand-to-hand combat moves including chest charges. The final variant is named Dragon Fangs and involves him using a number of weapons with blades to attack opponents.

Jackson and Jacqui Briggs will be featured in a Kombat Kast Twitch stream set for next week. In preparation for the event, their three variants were revealed at the end of the Goro event.
