The ongoing "Mr. Robot" season 2 has already dropped some major bombs, but star Portia Doubleday says that the rest of the season will be filled with even more unpredictable twists and turns.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Doubleday, who plays Angela Moss, Elliot Alderson's (Rami Malek) childhood friend, said that the fact that the show has already killed off two important characters (Michel Gill's Gideon and Ron Cephas Jones' Romero) so early in the season means that season 2 is a "completely different," "dangerous" world.

"It's completely unpredictable," Doubleday said, adding that in season 2, viewers will begin to see the consequences of everything that happened in season 1.

"There's an element of this show that's incredibly dangerous, and it was a big surprise to us when we were all reading these scripts," she said, revealing that the show's cast actually read the last four scripts for season 2 together.

According to Doubleday, fans probably won't be able to predict what's going to happen in the current season.

"I've been reading Reddit, and what they're saying about the show, and they're reaching some interesting conclusions, but what's incredible about Sam's writing is that it's never quite what you think it's going to be... so stay tuned," she said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, the cast of "Mr. Robot" was at San Diego Comic-Con for the first time on Thursday, July 21, where they successfully interacted with fans without giving away too much about "Mr. Robot" season 2.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the event, "Mr. Robot" star Christian Slater said about the current season, "It goes places that you couldn't possibly imagine."

"It sets up season 3 real well," Malek added.

The popular techno drama/thriller recently earned six Emmy nominations, including those for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Malek.

"Mr. Robot" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
