'Naruto Shippuden' episodes 464, 465 spoilers news: The origins of Ninshu; Hagoromo picks Ashura over Indra
This week's episode departs from the main storyline, although it may not totally be leaving off the scene of the battle between Naruto and Kaguya. Episode 464 of "Naruto Shippuden" will focus more on the string of events that brought on the circumstances of today's ninja world especially the wars that plague it.
Hagoromo, appearing before the four Hokages of the Hidden Leaf village, told of the battle Naruto and Sasuke were fighting against the earth's first chakra wielder, Kaguya, and how Madara was truly just a pawn in her scheme. A preview of the episode showed the Sage of the Six Paths explaining the Ninshu or Ninja Creed to the Hokages as he originally conceived it to be.
In the preview, Hagoromo addressed the Hokages saying, "In order to save Naruto and Sasuke, who are battling my mother Kaguya right now, you must know everything that has occurred. Before I talk about Ashura and Indra, I must first explain the origin of Ninshu, the Ninja Creed."
The Ninshu was intended as a peaceful religion that Hagoromo meant to pass down for generations to come. But it had been misinterpreted and instead became the precursor to the modern ninjutsu, which was a more weaponized approach.
This is a filler episode that is a continuation of the telling of Kaguya's backstory which has occupied some weeks of episodes now, to the chagrin of many Naruto fans. It has, however, provided a deeper understanding of the events that surround the exploits of Naruto and Sasuke and the conflicts that have shaped the ninja world. It is entitled "Ninshu" (The Ninja Creed). It is expected to air on Thursday, June 9, at 6:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo. Online streaming in the U.S. will follow on Crunchy Roll after its release in Japan.
In the meantime, episode 465 is said to continue with Hagoromo's narration of past events that have shaped the present as well as go into his reasons for choosing his son, Ashura, over Indra to carry on the sage's legacy.
This upcoming episode may also see the appearance of the shinobis, Ashura and Indra, who were the predecessors of the Senju and Uchicha clans, respectively.
