'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' updates: new 'Road to Boruto' DLC commerical unveiled
A new commercial for the "Road to Boruto" expansion coming to "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has been released by Bandai Namco Entertainment, treating fans to a better look at the downloadable content (DLC).
Fans are treated to footage from the new content and a preview of the characters in action including Team Konohamaru performing their ultimate jutsu.
The "Road to Boruto" DLC is so huge and sought after that it is now being offered by the publisher as a full-blown standalone game, which means players can just play it without having to plow through "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."
The "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" expansion comes with a Story Mode based on the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" in addition to an Adventure Mode, an Online Mode and a regular one.
As for the playable characters in the "Road to Boruto" DLC, gamers will of course get Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. Hokage Naruto and Adult Sasuke will also be included along with moves from the film.
Just recently, Mecha Naruto, the android version of Naruto, will also be included in the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC.
The character was first seen in action, as far as the video game franchise goes, in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution."
Mecha Naruto is the creation of Orochimaru as seen in the anime. He based him on the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path with the primary mission to stop Kurama and Akatsuki.
Fans should know that the likes of Adult Konohamaru, Momoshiki and Kinshiki, Yurui from the Hidden Cloud Village and Shikamaru and Temari's son Shikadai are nonplayable characters (NPCs) in the game. It is believed that the characters were not made playable because it is particularly challenging to create them in such format.
"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" DLC will be released on Feb. 2 exclusively for PlayStation 4 (PS4) Japan while the rest of the world will be able to get it on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Feb. 3.
