'NCIS' season 14 spoilers: Fornell to return in Christmas episode
It appears that fans will finally see Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell (Joe Spano) once again in "NCIS" season 14, in the season's Christmas special (episode 10) no less.
In the installment, "The Tie That Binds" (airing Dec. 13), Fornell will be back in the scene to celebrate the holidays. According to the synopsis for the episode, he will spend Christmas dinner with Gibbs (Mark Harmon).
This comes as no surprise as they have become roommates in the premiere after Fornell was shot in the previous season. Fans last saw Fornell in the third episode of "NCIS" season 14.
Those who missed him will certainly be in for a treat in "NCIS" season 14 episode 10. It remains to be seen if he will appear in more episodes after this.
With regards to the rest of the team, they will spend the holiday exchanging gifts with one another, but not before they solved a murder case.
Not only is "NCIS" season 14 episode 10 bringing Spano back into the fold, but also Adam Campbell who will reprise his role as Young Ducky, whose deceased mother will be tied up to the death of a Navy chaplain.
The episode prior to the Christmas special will be "Pay to Play." In this episode, Gibbs and the team will investigate a series of escalating threats against Congresswoman Jenna Flemming (Mary Stuart Masterson).
The previous episode of "NCIS" season 14 saw Bishop (Emily Wickersham) reveal her secret boyfriend's identity—Qasim Naasir (Rafi Silver), who she is breaking rule no. 12 with.
Now that the secret is out, fans can expect to see more of the couple in "NCIS" season 14, as revealed by Wickersham during her interview with TVGuide.
"Over the next few episodes... Qasim is in them and a little bit more of their relationship is revealed," the actress said.
"You know how it goes at NCIS. It's not like we're gonna learn so much, but we will definitely get a little window into their relationship," she added.
"NCIS" season 14 will be back with episode 9, "Pay to Play" on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
