'New Girl' season 6 episode 6 spoilers: Jess vies to be principal; Reagan to return for 8-episode arc
The votes have been cast and once she agrees, Nick's (Jake Johnson) girlfriend Reagan (Megan Fox) can move into the loft after newlyweds Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) move out. But will Jess (Zooey Deschanel) really be able to live with this?
The next episode of FOX's comedy series "New Girl" may feature Reagan's response to the idea. Despite being so supportive that it began to worry her best friend Cece, Jess may not be able to tolerate living in the same house with her ex-boyfriend and his new flame for very long, especially since she has already admitted to herself that she still has feelings for Nick.
According to the press release, the episode will be titled "James Wonder" and will also feature Nick hard-pressed at finding the best possible wedding gift for Cece and Schmidt. Winston (Lamorne Morris) will go out and test his undercover skills for an unspecified purpose, while Jess will set out to win the favor of the president of the Parents' Council so that she can get support to become the next principal in her school.
Meanwhile, conflict seems to be looming in the horizon as "New Girl" gears up for Reagan's return. While Nick hinted at the possibility of his girlfriend saying no to moving into the loft, there is a greater chance that she might say yes.
TV Line reported back in July that FOX will be reprising her role in an eight-episode arc for "New Girl" season 6. FOX originally joined the show last fall to fill in for lead actress Deschanel when the latter went on maternity leave.
But after her performance gained positive reactions from the viewers, the show signed her on for additional episodes. Will her presence in the loft ultimately lead to Jess confessing her lingering feelings for Nick?
"New Girl" season 6 episode 6 is scheduled to air on Nov. 1, Tuesday, at 8:30 p.m. EDT on FOX. However, this schedule may be preempted if the World Series goes into game six.
