'NieRs: Automata' PS4 demo, review update: title gains positive reviews from gamers; Black Box Edition already out
"NieR: Automata" can already be played by PlayStation 4 (PS4) owners before it gets released to the public in March 2017. The free demo has been keeping the fans glued to the title's gameplay, and here are the things they have to say.
The title brings the players a taste of action-packed adventures while they try to take down a gigantic weapon that the enemy possesses. Situated in a dilapidated factory, players will have to face several difficulties in order to complete their mission. These include learning the use of different weapons, especially when engaged in short- or long-range encounters.
So far, gamers have been giving "NieR: Automata" positive reviews, especially about the industrial setting of the game. According to GameRant, players are getting hooked on the game due to its mysterious setting, aside from the fact that there are two characters to choose from.
Heading over to Trusted Reviews, the game is commendable for causing players to be addicted to how they can take down the enemy boss. However, the publication noted that the final sequence battle is a little doozy, which would prompt players for a mechanical aid.
Overall, the game gains positive review, though the demo is said to have less role-playing features, considering that it is an RPG.
"NieR: Automata" has yet to be given a release date for PC, but consoles owners can expect its arrival on March 7, 2017. Square Enix will have to announce the two versions of the game as well.
"NieR: Automata" Day One edition carries the digital copy of the title and a box art. There is also the Black Box edition that comes with more perks such as a soundtrack, 2B Figurine, steelbook case, a special box, and all other items from the Day One Edition. The Black Box Edition can be bought on Square Enix for $190.
