Two weeks before the Nintendo Switch's official release, new details about the hybrid hardware have been leaked.

In a YouTube video posted by a user named hiphoptherobot, the Switch's user interface was revealed. The menu and process for creating a new system user were also showcased. IGN reports that the clip, which was also posted on NeoGAF, features the Switch from its start-up to the process of making an account and scanning the settings.

One of the notable aspects from the footage is the console's revealed internal storage listed as 25.9 GB, contrary to Nintendo's previous claim that it will have 32 GB of internal memory. However, it's worth noting that Nintendo has said the Switch will support up to 2 TB Micro SDXC cards. The video could be an indication of the amount of space taken up by the operating system in the Switch.

As for the tablet screen, players have the option to customize it with different themes. The uploader said that a retailer sent him the preordered Switch early, although he declined to reveal the outlet's name.

In other related news, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto recently caught up with Time magazine to discuss the Switch. Miyamoto made a throw-away statement, and he may have revealed that a pen or stylus accessory will be added in the console.

When asked about the Switch's "HD Rumble" haptic feedback, Miyamoto described how using the device feels like. "What's incredible is that it's not just this monotone vibration, but you can feel the taps. So when you put your pen on the screen, it's not just this dull vibration, you can feel the tap that the tip of the pen makes on the screen," he said.

Nintendo has yet to clarify Miyamoto's statement, but it could also mean that the game designer was just referring to an application that might use finger inputs to control a stylus or pen.

The Nintendo Switch will be officially released on March 3, 2017.
